Nobody Wanted My Small Job
Just got back from our trip to Midwest Van Builders. Wow. Just . . . wow. We took our RAM Promaster to Jonnie's workshop to have two windows and two fans installed because we did not want to cut the sheet metal ourselves. Jonnie also attached a running board that our local dealership could not figure out, fixed our seat swivels which we had put in upside down (oops!), installed our shore power and solar panel outlets, and wired our Bluetti power station to our 12V DC fuse panel. Here's the unbelievable part: Jonnie and her helpers did all of that work (and did it RIGHT) in only a day and a half!!! Before I found Jonnie's channel on Youtube, I had called a few local places looking for help. Nobody wanted my small job. They wouldn't even call me back. Jonnie was the opposite. She was willing to do as much or as little as I needed and give advice on the rest . . . and she was an angel when I kept having to move my dates. The fee was more than reasonable. And unlike a lot of skilled builders, Jonnie will tell you straight up what the cost and time will be. No surprises. If you want to DIY a van but there are a few tasks that make you nervous . . . or if you are looking for a builder who can do it all, soup to nuts! . . . call Midwest Van Builders. And go check out Jonnie's Journey on Youtube. It's all there.
